Paintings by Robert J. Craig
About the Artist
Robert J. “Bob” Craig was born in 1921, in Springfield, Ohio. His father was a sign painter and Bob himself has been painting since he was in junior high. An advertising executive for almost 50 years in Tampa, Florida and Detroit, Michigan, Bob began painting full-time after retiring in 1992.
Doris Craig, his wife was a photographer like her father, P. Felix Oriole who’s gallery in Pennsylvania is also pictured in one of Bob’s paintings.
Mr. Craig finds painting a great way to express himself after losing his voice box to cancer in 1988.
Paintings shown are available in both limited, numbered prints and reduced prints.
All prints are matted for your convenience.
Mr. Craig renders in oils, acrylics, pastels and colored pencil. He is able to work from any photo.
